Bellow is a rough guide to the activities we do during our days together:
7.30am - 8.30am. Arrivals, breakfast and quiet play
8.30am – 9.30am. School run
9.30am - 11.30am. Outings to the parks, toddler groups (days to be arranged) or local shops. Activities including painting, messy play, play dough, creative play. Babies can still have a nap
11.30am - 12.00pm. School / pre-school pick ups (if needed)
12.00pm - 12.45pm. Lunch
12.45pm - 2.45pm. Quiet time - naps for children who need them, group reading, or afternoon Toddler Groups.
3.00pm - 3.45pm. School pick up
3.45pm - 5.00pm. An after school snack followed by the children’s own choice of toys, games, time on the computer or the children can play in the garden if the weather permits.
5.00pm - 5.30 pm. Dinner (if arranged)
5.30pm - Pick up. Tidy up followed by watching television and videos until home time.
This is an example of our day together. The days vary depending on the weather or what the children would like to do.
Some parents like their school age children to complete homework, whilst also giving the children some time to just relax after a long day at school. If time and weather permits, a trip to the local playground may also take place after school.
