Illnesses

• If a child is suffering from sickness and/or diahorrea at home, I cannot provide care for the child until 24 hours have passed without illness. This is to reduce the risk of the sickness spreading to myself and the other children in my care.

• If a child becomes ill whilst in my care, I must be able to reach a nominated emergency contact immediately. Depending upon the circumstances, I will decide if it is appropriate for me to continue care for the child that day.
